Facilities
Adventure Bude has a wealth of facilities at its disposal. These range from the on-site facilities which are second to none to the off-site facilities just a stones throw from the Centre. Combined these allow the unique opportunity for all sessions to take place either on site or a short walk away, allowing all session time to be exactly that without the need for travel to activity sites.
On-Site Facilities
60ft multi pitch climbing wall with 1 lead & 5 top rope lines plus a bouldering facility with walls of all angles. These provide grades and challenges for all ability ranges.
Extensive high ropes course with a Continuous Belay System providing 9 challenging elements, a Jacobs Ladder, Trapeze, All Aboard and Rack element and 2 low elements. These provide both team and individual based challenges.
A purpose built extensive network of tunnels and chambers beneath the centre itself, provides both a mentally and physically challenging activity. Our extension to the caving facility provides a new physically demanding and team developing challenge!
Huge astro-turfed sports area including 5 A-side football pitches and basketball court providing recreational facilities to use during your time away from activities.
Off-Site Facilities
The excellent Bude Canal is our host for Kayaking, Canoeing and Dragon Boating activities providing the perfect sheltered venue for these activities along with a picturesque backdrop for a gentle journey.
The River Neet right on our doorstep is also used for kayaking providing the ideal sheltered venue to learn the basic skills of the this fast growing paddlesport.
The exceptional Summerleaze Beach only a stones throw from the centre provides all you could ask for as a venue for our surfing and body boarding sessions. It also provides a wonderful place to spend time exploring the sea and the nature within it.
Right next to Summerleaze Beach is the exceptional and historic Bude Sea Pool. This fantastic facility is used throughout your time with us! Most usually each morning for a pre-breakfast dip!
Centre Facilities
The centre is fully central heated with 75 en-suite rooms.
A wonderfully equipped disco facility providing the venue for many of our evening entertainments.
An extensively stocked gift shop allows souvenirs of your stay to be purchased and gifts for those not lucky enough to visit themselves.
Perfect dining facility able to cater for up to 350 clients.
A quiet area with soft seating and a book collection for those needing to relax after all of the days activities
Our Movie Room with a giant screen and Tuck Shop to get your Popcorn for the show!
A unique Marquee facility providing the venue for our end of week presentation evening and also a dry facility for the rare occasion we have rain in Bude!
