Is a multi-activity centre that has been
running since 1979. It is set in the heart of Bude, a small
town on the north coast of Cornwall. The Centre overlooks
some of Britain's most spectacular and rugged coastline.
The Centre was originally the Grenville Hotel built in 1909,
its refurbishment and conversion to a multi-activity centre
has given a new lease of life to one of Bude's most historic
and prominent buildings.
The position of the Centre overlooking the sea, river, canal
and with an impressive 140 foot abseil only a short stroll along
the cliffs means that virtually all of the activities take
place either on site or a stones throw away.
The Centre has 75 bedrooms all of which are en-suite.
When not on activities there are plenty of other things to
keep you entertained. Football on the astro-turf, basketball, table
tennis, pool or you may
prefer to relax in the bar and watch the sun go down over
the surf!
Locally there are a variety
of pubs, clubs and restaurants to choose from. For those still
with energy to spare there are excellent public tennis and
squash courts for hire as well as an outstanding golf course
right here in the heart of Bude.
For those who prefer a day off, why not take advantage of
Bude's perfect setting and visit some of the outstanding tourist
attractions around Bude. Tintagel Castle is a short drive
away and tourist information in town can advise you on many
other worthwhile trips.
