The PGCE Student course is designed to provide the best possible start for a new trainee teacher on their road to qualification. The course has been successfully running since 2002 and has provided numerous trainee teachers an invaluable insight into teaching and coaching. The course is designed to be run as early in the trainees term as possible so that the most can be gained from the team development side of the course. Throughout the course trainees will sample all the activity sessions that take place here however time will be spent looking at the Health and Safety side of these sessions, the background into there development and all the planning and organising that is required for the sessions to run safely and legally. The trainees will also be able to view Instructors at work and students taking part in activities as well as in and around the centre.
